Ghana - Drawing 1

$50.00

Drawing measures 6” x 8”

This is an original artwork made by Ghana. Ghana is a formerly unhoused resident of Saint Francis Apartments, and participant in our collaborative project, “Heard to be Seen, Seen to be Heard”. This blind contour drawing was made during collaborative session 2 of 3 in September 2024. The first drawing was a blind contour of the Denver Capitol building, drawing 2 was an item of their choosing, and drawing 3 was of their neighbor. The drawings were on display at the culminating exhibition at Understudy (Denver, CO) in March 2025.

Your purchase supports the residents. 80% of the proceeds go directly to Ghana, the participating artist resident. The remaining 20% covers fees and (partial) labor to Emma for hosting, exhibiting and selling the works.
